How it started
Just over one year ago my life looked very different. I was emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed and constantly trying to hold everything together whilst quietly knowing I wanted more from life than just surviving the week.
At the time I was a single mum to three children, trying to balance work, parenting and the constant mental load that comes with feeling responsible for everyone and everything at once. Whilst I cared deeply about the work I did, I knew my children needed more from me than a burnt out version constantly trying to survive.
After losing my dad and seeing first hand how deeply poor mental health can affect someone, especially men who often struggle in silence, I became incredibly aware of how important presence and stability really are. That mattered more to me than climbing another career ladder.
Money was its own quiet disaster. I counted pennies, but the kids came before the bills every single time. Christmas went on credit cards. When something broke I borrowed at rates I do not like thinking about now. I rented a washer and dryer for seven years, which is thousands of pounds to own absolutely nothing, because finding the money in one go was never going to happen.
I did not just want more money. I wanted to stop paying the expensive way for everything. I wanted flexibility, ownership over my time, and to be there for the people who needed me. So I became obsessed with understanding modern business, online sales and scalable income.
Why Signature
Signing my name never felt connected to a version of myself I was proud of yet. So when I rebuilt, I was not just building a business, I was building the version of myself I finally belonged in.

All of it made whilst raising three children. It had to fit round a life, so it does.
What changed everything was learning
No wealth, no connections, no polished entrepreneurial background. When I started building online I was burnt out and rebuilding my life whilst managing pressure most people around me knew nothing about.
Then I learnt skills. Real ones, that gave me leverage, visibility and the ability to make money in ways I did not know existed.
Not overnight and not perfectly, but permanently. Since then: accredited programmes, hundreds of students, and a business built entirely in public.
